Goals of the CDSP are :

- to render assistance in effective solution of problems in the field of healthy food public policy;

- to ensure population of Russian Federation with high-quality and affordable food supplements and healthy food;

- to protect the rights of customers, manufacturers and organizations participating in the turnover of food supplements and healthy food in relation to the production and sale of proper quality products;

- to represent and defend interests of the companies involved in the market of food supplements and healthy products in state government and local authorities, public and other organizations and institutions, by communication with other legal entities irrespective to their legal form and individuals;

-  to regulate the national market of food supplements and healthy products;

- to assist the CDSP members to develop  national and new foreign markets;

-  to carry out any other activity aimed at declared goals solution, which is not prohibited by the effective legislation of Russian Federation. 

- to contribute to development of system aimed to supply Russian customers with high-quality food supplements and healthy food;

- to contribute to development of quality control system and participate in voluntary certification examination of food supplements and healthy food in accordance to international requirements and standards;

- to develop the code of ethics designated for maintenance of equal conditions and requirements to all CDSP members on the Russian market;

-  to establish Board of Experts to issue guidelines and conclusions  to CDSP members activity  on the Russian market;

- to establish an organization authorized to handle complaints of customers and authorities;

- to coordinate activity of CDSP members in the field of ensuring conditions for fair competition among manufacturers and other organizations relating to the turnover of food supplements and healthy food;

- to participate in lawmaking pertinent to development and turnover of food supplements and healthy food;

- to  represent interests of CDSP members in government and other bodies, as well as in international organizations;

- to promote mutually beneficial collaboration between national and international organizations aimed at development of food supplements and healthy food market;

- to plan, organize and conduct scientific and research  activities in the field of production and consumption of food supplements and healthy food;

- to ensure proper conditions for education of specialists in the field of food supplements and healthy food in Russia, as well as support of existing specialists and scientists;

- to inform CDSP members and third parties  by issuing newsletters and other specialized publications;

- to further contacts between members of CDSP and contribute information exchange by organization of various events, fairs, theoretical and practical conferences and workshops, as well as international events;

- to promote food supplements and healthy food in the mass media, internet and specialized editions, to develop consumer market and educate consumers.
